We at StoneMill, invite young Indian writers from all over the world to rekindle the spark of nostalgia and joy as they embark on a new adventure –– an adventure inspired by the captivating stories passed down to us by our grandparents!
We believe that these tales carry with them the nostalgia, the emotions, that excitement that is unique to the oral storytelling tradition.
We’re giving children a chance to pay homage to their favourite people –– their grandparents! All they have to do is write a short story based on a personal experience, anecdote, or story they’ve heard from their grandparents and we’ll give them the chance to share it with the rest of the world.
Parents are welcome to register on behalf of their wards and each participant can submit a maximum of two stories.
The stories you submit will be a part of a collection of children’s stories, creating a treasury of nostalgia and shared memories.
Let’s make sure the magic of storytelling lives on! Let us provide your children with a space to showcase their writing skills confidently! We would love for young writers to be able to find their audience.
